Design Projects
I transform secondhand and repurposed materials such as fabric remnants, plastic, magazines, and deconstructed garments into sustainable creations that explore innovation, materiality, and storytelling.
This piece draws inspiration from the contrast between denim and lace. I deconstructed a pair of jeans, repurposing the pant legs as sleeves, while the lace was sourced from a secondhand shirt.
This placemat is crocheted from plarn, reshaping discarded grocery bags into continuous strands of usable material. The process transforms something disposable into an object with intention and renewed purpose.
This dress was created from old fashion magazines for a group project in my Fashion Careers Academy class, where we were asked to design a garment of our choice.
Crocheted placemat made entirely from repurposed plastic grocery bags.
This piece was part of my final runway look for my Fashion Careers Academy class, made entirely from thrifted materials.
